Flower of Life (FOL) is a veteran of the CBD industry in America – going strong since 2017. I’ve previously had the pleasure of reviewing Flower of Life CBD’s vape, gummy bears, and even CBD and CBG pre-rolls and have always been very happy with their products. For this round of reviews, they sent over their Full Spectrum CBD Tincture and two versions of their CBD Healing Salve – all of which I’m excited to try.
Flower of Life Full Spectrum CBD Tincture Review
The Flower of Life Full Spectrum CBD Tincture comes in a white glass bottle with a matching white dropper cap. The Flower of Life CBD label is also white with their signature tessellated, geometric design in the background. The front of the label features the Flower of Life logo while the rest of the label tells you directions for use, ingredients, and even includes a handy chart with suggested serving sizes and their equivalent CBD dosages. While the one I am reviewing comes with 1500mg CBD, the tincture is available in 500mg and 3000mg CBD levels.
Flower of Life’s full spectrum CBD oil is organic, vegan, gluten-free, non-GMO, no-THC, and non-psychoactive. When I tried it, I was struck by two things: the clean taste that didn’t taste overpoweringly of coconut and the clear headed mental effects. I dosed with a quarter dropper under my tongue which works out to 12.5mg and was clear of anxiety for several hours. I felt more clear headed than normal for the time of day and I felt sharper and able to recall things without worrying about why I needed to.
I recommend starting with 12.5mg CBD worth, so a quarter dropper, and adding more every thirty minutes if needed. Because Flower of Life CBD’s tincture uses medium chain triglyceride (MCT) oil, it will hit you faster than non-MCT oil. What you feel after thirty minutes will be the plateau you’ll stay on for hours after – and the next time you can start at whatever dosage level you want. It’s much, much better to start low and work your way up as opposed to starting with too much and then writing off a product because it wallops you.

Flower of Life CBD Healing Salve Review
The Flower of Life CBD mini Healing Salve comes in a small metal tin secured by a sticker that covers the tin from the bottom side to the top side. The Eucalyptus CBD Healing Salve comes with a green sticker while the Unscented CBD Healing Salve comes with a blue/purple sticker. The top side of the sticker features the Flower of Life CBD logo while the bottom features the ingredients list.
The mini CBD healing salve comes with 75mg of CBD and is meant to serve as a sample of Flower of Life’s healing salve line in case you want to try their larger 125mg CBD line. Besides Eucalyptus and Unscented, the 75mg line of healing salves also comes in a Lavender scent.
The Flower of Life CBD Eucalyptus Healing Salve smells so delicious when it is opened. The slightly sharp mint flavor of eucalyptus comes through without any burning sensation like one would expect from mentholatum. Instead, it melds perfectly with the nutty, creamy tones of the organic coconut oil.
I took a fingertip full of the Eucalyptus CBD Healing Salve and let it melt a little on my fingers before I kneaded it into the small of my back. The left side of my back is always a little sore in the mornings and within thirty minutes I had forgotten about that sharp pain because it had dissipated.
The Flower of Life CBD Unscented CBD Healing Salve on the other hand has an even coconut-y smell that I could just breathe for the rest of my life. It almost smells like coconut milk instead of regular coconut oil. I took a bit of this CBD salve and applied it to my face. The weather has been very dry lately – cold also, which means the heater is going full blast and making the air even dryer. I used to worry about getting cracked skin during such bouts of weather but with this salve it’s no longer a worry. A bonus of using it on your face is that the wonderful coconut smell stays with you for longer.
On the second tin of salve, I learned that it is possible to open the CBD healing salve without breaking or cutting the seal or ripping off the well designed sticker. In fact, I recommend doing this because it lets the sticker hold the lid for you and keeps it nearby so it won’t be lost. Even though the tins are small and contain 75mg of CBD each, they’ll still last a good long while.
