You can find our previous reviews for the TombstoneGold BarIlumi, and the younger sibling of my review unit for today's post, the KR1 on our blog. Two years in and Hamilton Devices is quickly becoming a juggernaut of the CCELL world. Known for their high-quality devices that offer superb quality in a crowded space, individuals and retail consumers alike benefit from their wide selection of vaporizer technology. Hamilton Devices continues to set itself apart with uniquely designed batteries and vaporizers.

Hamilton Devices PS1 2-in-1 Vape

I was beyond stoked to receive the PS1 vape. As most of you probably are, I am no stranger to the world of CCELL and 510 threaded carts; portability, discreetness, and ease of use are only a few of the key reasons I am a fan. In the last few years, a flood of batteries and vaporizers hit the market. I have even had the experience of receiving cartridge batteries as first-time specials or holiday grab bag gifts at my local dispensaries. PS1 Vape Review While they get the job done, the offerings leave a lot to be desired in regards to the smoking experience. Enter the PS1, what Hamilton Devices dubs "the world's first 2-in-1 Double vape cartridge and concentrate bubbler". This incredibly unique device not only offers the ability to smoke concentrates via CCELL cartridge or wax atomizer but also allows for two cartridges or atomizers to be hooked up at the same time. What kind of crazy world do we live in! As with previous Hamilton Devices vapes, the PS1 comes in some beautiful packaging; A clean black box with fantastic silver inlay artwork. You're not going to find a flimsy unbranded package when you receive yours. Honestly, it feels like they spent just as much time designing the packaging as they did the device. That being said, believe me when I say they did not skimp on the actual product. Upon opening the box, you'll be greeted with the PS1 battery, the PCTG terpene resistant housing, glass bubbler, and two threaded wax coil connectors.

The housing acts as both a hood for the cartridges or atomizers and receptacle for the bubbler. There are two chambers, and the only opening, after battery and bubbler have been set, is at the very top in the wall that divides the internals. This allows vapor to be pulled from one chamber to the next and subsequently through to the bubbler. An additional rubber gasket between the plastic and glass ensurers that the bubbler stays where you want it in the housing and won't come out. After charging the unit, as is advised with any new battery, I filled the bubbler and loaded up two cartridges of "Wedding Cake" that I picked up just for this review. I opted to leave the voltage at its default because even this seasoned smoker was a little skeptical, this small bubbler could effectively reduce harshness that can accompany large rips. As quickly as I watched the chamber fill with a massive amount of vapor, my skepticism vanished. The hit was huge and so smooth. So much better then any portable vaporizer I had used in the past.

The battery trigger is well placed, and I appreciate the proximity of the chamber air intake opening just above the trigger. This allowed me to easily control the airflow into the bubbler by placing a digit over the intake, either partially or fully. I ran through the different voltage settings, three to be exact, and found the higher voltage hits, astonishingly very smooth. For the atomizer, I dropped some "Larry Face" in and found equally great results; big, flavorful hits. Taste: 5/5 Effectiveness: 5/5 Ease of use: 5/5 Overall score: 5/5 I've used various contraptions in the past that allow me to run cartridges through my bongs, but they are all so cumbersome and feel hacky. Those have gone right out the window with the PS1 vape. It will function quite well as a desktop unit or an on the go device if you remember to bring your water bottle. I think what I love most about this device is that you are essentially getting two devices. For my everyday use, I leave a single cartridge screwed in, and it works beautifully. But when seshing with friends or wanting to build your own lovely blend of two of your favorite strains, you can step up your game by utilizing the second space. I am a sucker for devices that offer utility and Hamilton Devices has hit it out of the park. Use code “CCELLSLYNG” for an awesome 10% OFF your entire order from Hamilton Devices!
