THCA Flower

For those that don't know, THCA is a phytocannabinoid found contained in raw cannabis and is one of more than 100 cannabinoids known to exist. It is the inactive form of THC, known as the primary psychoactive compound found in cannabis. Both THC and THCA exist in large quantities in fresh cannabis, while THCA will slowly degrade over time and when cannabis is dried, cured, or heated.

Heating THCA will convert it to an active form of THC, the cannabinoid primarily responsible for the “high” felt from cannabis. This chemical reaction is known as decarboxylation and occurs when cannabis is subjected to temperatures around 220°F for about 15-30 minutes. THC and THCA both offer therapeutic effects, such as reduced inflammation, however, THC is primarily responsible for the psychoactive effects while THCA is non-psychoactive.

The first strain I decided to try was Sour Banana Sherbet. Having tried 10DC before, I knew I could trust the brand and once again, I was not disappointed. The flower was simply gorgeous – with vibrant yellow and green hues and dense nuggets, it was beautiful to look at. Upon smelling it I was immediately taken aback by its sweet and tangy aroma – it smelled like a tangy banana-mango smoothie! Upon grinding, it was super easy to handle and I was surprised by how soft the buds felt.

When it came to smoking it, Sour Banana Sherbet did not disappoint. The flavor was perfect – tangy and tropical fruits such as pineapple, mango, and sour banana lingered on the palate, with a hint of sweetness balancing out the sour notes. I also noticed notes of earthiness and creaminess, giving the strain a multi-dimensional feel. I was in for a ride.

I felt the effects about halfway through the joint and it started with a mellow body high. Overall, I felt relaxed and chilled out. It was a great strain after a long day.

Overall, 10dc’s Sour Banana Sherbet is a unique and exotic strain with a tangy and tropical flavor profile that’s both invigorating and complex. THCA Flower

The next thing I decided to try was Mac 1. Mac 1 is a strain I found it to be an incredibly special experience. Mac 1 has become a favorite among cannabis enthusiasts worldwide for its balance of both upbeat and calming effects. However, what really sets it apart is the fact that this strain cannot be grown by just anyone. THCA Flower

The third strain I decided to try was Hazy Train. This strain is a potent cross of two legendary landrace sativa strains, Haze and Trainwreck, and the unified result is a potent sativa. The smell is super loud, with notes of sour and diesel overpowering whatever it contains. It has beautiful dense buds covered in trichomes and orange pistils, giving it a unique look.

When smoking Hazy Train THCA, I found the effects to be much more uplifting yet still mellow. It gave me a cheerful and creative state of mind that allowed me to focus and finish work efficiently and easily. The effects lasted for a few hours and I never felt like there was an uncomfortable crash after the high had worn off. I would definitely recommend this strain to anyone looking for an energizing and motivating sativa that can help get the day started right.

10DC THCA Flower Review - Conclusion

Overall, the 10DC THCa flower strains were an outstanding experience. All three strains provided an enjoyable and effective experience in their own unique ways. The Sour Banana Sherbet strain was especially calming, rolling over the body with a blissful and relaxed feeling. The hazy Train had an energizing effect, giving users the motivation to continue their day, and the Mac 1 was wonderfully calming and uplifting, leaving me feeling refreshed and recharged.
